I grew up in Switzerland. In my twenties I travelled extensively and eventually settled in the UK in 1997. I have had several different jobs including teaching and working with at-risk teenagers, and I am a mother of three. I believe we all have the potential to live purposeful, meaningful and happy lives, while navigating the inevitable difficulties life throws at us.
My core training is in Psychosynthesis, which is a holistic and integrative model. It sees the person as a whole: body, mind, feelings and spirit, and takes into consideration all human needs, from the basic psychological needs for security, love, relationships, respect and recognition, to the needs for meaning, higher values and self-actualisation.
I work in Lewes and London with young adults and older people. I can help work through trauma, depression, feelings of low self esteem and feelings of being stuck. I work alongside my clients helping them to transform deep rooted issues, and enabling them to move towards lasting change.
I also work one day a week in a college in Brighton counselling 18 to 25 year olds with autism and challenging learning difficulties.
